Privacy Policy

Last Revised: September 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PipeWyre collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or engage our services. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Information we collect

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details you provide: name, business name, email address, telephone number and any notes you add when booking a call.
  • Engagement information: your target markets, the services you are interested in and any details you share during a discovery call.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Scheduling data: where you book a call through our third-party scheduling provider (Cal.com), the information you provide to make that booking.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiries and arrange discovery calls;
  • provide, manage and improve our outbound sales development services;
  • send you information you have requested or that is relevant to an existing engagement;
  • operate, maintain and improve our website; and
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Our lawful bases for processing

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent, where you have actively agreed, for example to non-essential cookies or to receive marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract, where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you.
  • Legitimate interests, to operate and promote our business, where this is not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation, where we are required to process data to comply with the law.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, including:

  • our scheduling provider, Cal.com, when you book a call;
  • IT, hosting and analytics providers that support our website; and
  • professional advisers, or regulators and authorities where required by law.

All processors are bound by contracts requiring them to keep your data secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to a country covered by UK adequacy regulations.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is typically deleted within 24 months. Where data relates to a contract, we retain it for the duration of the engagement and for up to six years afterwards.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure of your data in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to our processing of your data;
  • data portability; and
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@pipewyre.com. We will respond within one month.

8. Cookies

This website does not run analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. The only cookies set are strictly necessary ones needed for the website to function, and cookies set by Cal.com, the third-party scheduler we use to power the "Book a Strategy Call" booking widget. Loading the Cal.com scheduler also causes your IP address to be shared with Cal.com so it can suggest your local timezone.

Because loading Cal.com is not strictly necessary for the rest of the website to work, we only load it once you have given consent. When you first visit, a cookie banner asks you to Accept all or Decline. If you decline, clicking "Book a Strategy Call" will open your email client instead of loading Cal.com, until you change your mind — you can do this at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.

Most web browsers are also set to accept cookies by default. You can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though doing so may affect the booking widget and other features of this website.

9. Security

We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Revised" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

11. Contact & complaints

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@pipewyre.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

We use essential cookies to make this site work. With your consent we also load a third-party tool that may set cookies or process your IP address — our Cal.com scheduler. See our Cookie Policy.
